Storyline
Mercy for None (2025):Nam Gi Jun had at one point been an important and trusted member of the Bongsan Gang, which was under the leadership of Koo Bong San. He battled his way through violent and bloody turf wars, and in doing so he played a part in helping the gang climb its way to power. However, all of that took a dramatic turn when his younger brother, Nam Gi Seok, decided to join their rival gang, Joowoon, which was commanded by Lee Ju Un. In order to keep his brother safe, Nam Gi Jun was forced to make a harsh and painful decision – he walked away from Bongsan for good, and as proof that he would never come back, he severed his own left Achilles tendon. Now, eleven years have passed, and he leads a peaceful, low-key existence, operating a modest drink supply business that caters to establishments owned by Bongsan. He has absolutely no desire or intention of ever returning to that life. Yet when Nam Gi Seok, who has since become the second-in-command of Joowoon, turns up dead under circumstances that raise suspicion, Nam Gi Jun understands that he cannot simply remain uninvolved. In order to uncover the truth and exact his revenge, he steps back into the criminal underworld that he had sworn to abandon – a place where old grudges continue to smolder, where power has changed hands, and where nothing is quite what it appears to be.
